DEV is a VIRTUAL Reality that can be indistinguishable form Objective Reality

People often ask me what is Directed Erotic Visualisation© (DEV©)?

I have given many answers .... here is a little more on the topic in answer to this feedback query.

“The human mind is a powerful thing yet you've found a way to mold it, like a sculptor does clay. Yet once you've finished you put it on a shelf, the piece begging to be worked on once again…” K’.  March 2012

In some ways this is a criticism of what I do, a plea to not be left hanging after the intense pleasure and release that this technique can bring. That even after multiple, exhausting orgasms one can be left wanting more. An accusation that Directed Erotic Visualisation© is addictive: for some that may be true.

Your mind is very powerful, yet it goes about its business largely unnoticed by us in our everyday lives. Our daily ‘reality’ is made up of sensations and perceptions that are filtered out from the myriad bits of stimulation and information that our body automatically collects through all our physical senses.

To process that mass of data in real-time would swamp our consciousness and we would not be able to think at all in the hubbub! So we only notice up to six or seven sensations or bits of data at any one moment from the stream of sensory information that assails us constantly.

However, we are able to capture fleeting bits of stimuli, proving that the mind is aware of it all at some level. You may have heard of the ‘cocktail party syndrome'; where in a room full of people talking, we are able to hear someone say our name in the background noise of talking voices.

DEV© works with the mind to access an Altered State of awareness that takes you into an erotic, sensual place of physical and mental pleasure and stimulation.

We use Altered States of mind in our daily life to help us focus on what we are doing; watching TV and being engrossed in the movie, reading a good book and really getting into the story, freeway driving and seemingly waking up as we near home; not recalling the journey even simple daydreaming. All these are Altered States of concentration or consciousness; some people prefer to use the word ‘trance’.

Directed Erotic Visualisation© is merely another Altered State.

During DEV© you become first relaxed and receptive, then very aware of yourself and your own sensuality. You are able to recall and imagine physical pleasures and erotic stimuli; becoming aroused as though you were experiencing something real or fantasising towards an orgasm.

Then there is the overlay of erotic storytelling and scene setting with detailed sensory description that 'spoofs' your mind into thinking that you are actually experiencing those sensations. Your mental sensory filter is triggered by virtual signals, not arising from anything real; these become indistinguishable from reality, in fact it becomes your reality for the time you are in the 'bubble' of DEV©.

You feel the caring touch and intimate caress, the ardent kiss and passionate bite, the stretching penetration and skin sliding on skin excitement. The sex feels real, the bondage feels real and the scenes in which you are placed all feel very real during the experience.

The memories after the fact are as good as real memories but you are usually always aware of the difference between the virtual and the real. (The virtual are often better, more intense!)

Over the years I have worked interactively at a distance and more directly with many women to help them explore their boundaries and to experience their fantasies in ways that would be impossible without the technique of DEV©. Together, we have discovered that there are virtually no limits to what can be sensually experienced through the action of Directed Erotic Visualisation©.
